A Borit Flap Wheel is made with silicone abrasive grain cross pads bonded to a sturdy base disc. In glass beveling, the flap wheel is used after rough grinding with a grinding wheel. It creates a semi-mirror finish on the glass before the final polish with cerium oxide or chrome oxide slurry. The highly dense, overlapped cross pads ensure the required stock removal. The flap wheel’s flexibility is advantageous for smoothing curved profiles. Flaps made with an appropriate percentage of silicon carbide and corundum, bonded with a suitable resin, make this product ideal for glass grinding and semi-polishing. The appropriate grit size is used for semi-finishing. For the final finish, apply cerium oxide with a non-woven felt pad/disc. It is recommended for dry grinding. Fit all angle grinders.
